Pivni
Set in a quirky half-timbered 16th century building the city centre, their mission is to provide you with the finest beers from around the world – and they certainly achieve it. Served from traditional cask handpulls, continental swing handled taps, or from one of over 200 different bottles worldwide!
1331 Bar
It’s a bar. It’s a restaurant. It’s a cinema. Craft beers, home-cooked food, watch a film or live sporting events in the attic cinema, laze in the Secret Garden, join in the Speedquiz, dance with resident DJ Dave Knowles, or if you want they’ll even let you get married!
Evil Eye
This bright and cheerful bar is based on traditional bars in Brazil, Morocco, and Haiti. The internet café has gone, to be replaced with a specialist gin bar! Oh yes – a whole bar devoted to gin – and, of course, all the cocktails that you can make with it.
Bora Bora Cocktail Bar
Advertising itself as York’s premier cocktail bar, it very possibly is. There is a vast range of cocktails available brought to you by expert and friendly mixologists and all for under a fiver! There’s also a choice of different wines, and very reasonably priced champagnes too.
