The Scran & Scallie
This proud holder of a 2017 Michelin Bib Gourmand Award is the latest brainchild of the team behind The Kitchin. Catering for the whole family, and offering the finest Scottish food – “scran” – there’s a choice of artisan beers and traditionally brewed ales.
Bramble Bar & Lounge
This venue considers the making of drinks to be an art form, but at the same time doesn’t take things too seriously. A wide choice of cocktails, champagnes, wines, and spirits, some of them invented by Bramble Bar bartenders, will tickle your taste buds.
Dragon Fly
Drinks are the most important thing here, but if you get a bit peckish they will arrange for you to have a stunning pizza delivered to your table. A huge choice of cocktails using the finest spirits together with juices, fresh fruits and a few ingredients that they say you might not expect!
The Bow Bar
Serving no less than 50 international bottled beers, 6 keg beers, 8 cask conditioned ales, and “approximately” 310 different malts (they’ve actually lost count) it will take you about a year of visits to sample every one of them. However, what a way to spend a year!
The Bon Vivant
With a cocktail list that changes with alarming regularity, a wide choice of champagnes, and 44 different wines that you can order by the glass, carafe, or bottle, The Bon Vivant endeavours to promote smaller “boutique” wines and varietals that you may not know, but will enjoy.
This is definitely the last word when it comes to a choice of different drinks. Whatever takes your fancy, they have got it. Even if it doesn’t take your fancy, they have got that too. Spirits from Jamaica as much as 57% abv (!) and a huge choice of wines, single malts, and blends, and bar snacks if you feel hungry.
