Top Rated Dundee Bars

BrewDog

Opened in 2014, BrewDog is set in the Royal Exchange Building with its’ neo-gothic architecture. Once upon a time the transactions in here were complicated, but today all you do is “exchange” your hard-earned cash for the stunning craft beers – no less than 18 of them including the guest beers.

Tickety Boo’s

A traditional bar with a friendly atmosphere, Tickety Boo’s has won awards from the British Institute of Innkeeping, Casque Mark, and Best Bar None. A large range of gins and many whiskies from which to choose while you listen to live music, play poker, or just watch the sport.

The Playwright

The Playwright is not just a restaurant, but also offers a relaxed seating area where you can choose from a vast selection of whiskies, wines, and much more. Speciality cocktails include Pear and Raspberry Mule, and Chilli Ginger Twist.

The Phoenix

Antique bar cabinets, mosaic walls, brass fittings, and stained glass window booths make you think you’re back in the 19th century. You’d be right: it opened in 1856. Enjoy a fresh guest beer every week. It’s also the only pub in Dundee to serve Leffe on tap.

Clarks on Lindsay Street

A contemporary bar with traditional values. Free wi-fi and big screen live sports available, while you choose from the cask ales, cocktails, or just coffee. Live music most nights and it stays open until 2.30 am on Fridays and Saturdays.
