The temperature in the UK has dropped, and we’re certainly suffering from a bit of wanderlust here at Roar.

This is the perfect time of year for travelling and exploring new places - our favourite summer holiday destinations have become free of crowds, making it the perfect time to squeeze in a bit of sun before the Christmas period.

Seville, Spain

A scorcher of a city from April - August, Autumn is the best time to visit Seville thanks to the cooler climes, breezy days and streets which are a little less stuffy, but no less romantic.

Voted the best city in the world to visit by Lonely Planet, the city oozes a certain sense of passion and individuality. Highlights include one of the largest Christian churches in the world, Seville Cathedral, which is awe-inspiring in both grandeur and majesty.

Colourful fiestas take place throughout the Autumn months, where visitors can see authentic flamenco dancing, parades, floats and concerts.

Rome, Italy

Rome gets incredibly busy during the peak of Summer, but by October, it quietens down and becomes the perfect destination for a traveller seeking culture, history and a little bit of sunshine.

The arts, theatre, opera and museum calendars are full at this time of the year - enjoy the city’s renowned Jazz Festival, Film Festival, or celebrate Halloween in one of the major clubs.

Make your way to Trevi Fountain, which is usually swarmed by selfie-takers in summer. Admire the fountain without so many tourists spoiling the view. Explore the many ancient ruins or even visit Vatican City, the headquarters of the Roman Catholic Church.

Casablanca, Morocco
